Week 47 Ciudad Delgado! 1 YEAR!!!!

Hey everyone!! This week was pretty good! This is gonna be pretty fast because we wont have the full time to write because of our activity today! We went to the other mission and we went bowling it was pretty sweet!! But we had an amazing week! We had 4 baptisms, 12 people in sacrament meeting and confirmed that we will have 4 more baptisms this Sunday!! I know that i will be changed this next week because my comp got called to train sooo see ya later ciudad delgado!! I think i have done the work i was sent to do here! The attendance has improved and we have had lots of baptisms but im sad because i wont get to see some of them that i have been able to teach and see progress! I am gonna miss this area! I love the ward and the people and i will miss sooo much some of my converts! This week we were able to work really effectively, we had a crazy week of baptismal interviews interchanges and reunions! I dont have lots of time but i am so grateful for the time i have had here in this area and the things i could learn! i will be a better missionary in the next ward where im sent! I am exited to see what will come!! This week i officially finished a year in the mission! im pretty excited but pretty scared! The time has gone by sooo fast!! I don't feel like i have been here for a year and everyone has told me that the second half just goes by faster! But well see what happens! Semana 46! Ciudad Delgado

Hey everyone!! This week was really good but a little bit hard! We finished the week really tired but we had lots of success! 8 people came to church and we will have 4 baptisms this week! We were gonna have them last week but they drank coffee.. but they are all good for this week and we will have lots more as well!! This area is super good and i am sad to think that i will soon be leaving! We have changes on the 8th and i will probably leave.. i have been here for almost 6 months! This week i officially have 1 year in the mission!! CRAZY! but i ill be home in less than a year! Im pretty sure the 10th of January next year! I don like how fast the time is going by but i know that if i keep working hard the lord is going to make it feel easier and faster for me! We have been having weeks really basic and im struggling to find interesting things to write you guys but were working really hard ith lots of people! We have found o many amazing investigators that are o prepared to receive our message! Ill tell you a little about them, the people getting baptized this Saturday are Selena, Marta, Gloria, and Rosa, they are all family and they absolutely love the church! Others are Marcela and Erick, the couple that got marries a few weeks ago! they have both told us that they are so grateful for hat we have taught them and are ready to get baptized! They just need to go to church a few more times! Others are branda and alicia, mother and daughter! They are soo good! the other day we were talking with them and they aid to us elders, i know that you guy come and go real quick but if you guy have to leave i want you to know that you have done something good in this house, were so grateful to have known the true church and we dont feel confused anymore! Another names Javier that went to church for the first time this week and told u he would ike to move forward his baptismal date becue he already knew that it was all true!!! We have a few others similar but they are all amazing and we have really focused on helping them progress and looking for lots of new people! Anyways this was a good week! today we played soccer with the whole zone and i scored 3 goals! Against all latinos!! im pretty stoked haha!! It was lots of fun tyo be able to play again! Hey everyone!! This week has been really good! lots better with better health without ingrown toenails and with lots of success!! Baptisms lots of people prepared for baptism coming soon! And lots of people tht god has blessed us with! Hard work, fasting, prayer, and faith! I love This mission and i love el salvador! I love my area, my companion and i have almost been here for a year! Wow.. thats crazy!! Tuesday we had a multizone conference that took up pretty much the whole day.. but it was really good! our president is sooo good! super inspired! Learned a ton!! The rest of the week we has tons of success and finished off the week with 10 investigators in church!!!! Huge progress!! All is well my toe is better and we are killin it here!! Week 43! Still in Ciudad Delgado

Heyyy everyone! !this weeks letter is actually going to be short bcause this week was preetty hard for us! We were pretty sick from monday to wednesday and a little thursday so we didnt get to do too much. We had chikingunia! (idk how to spell that) But it was horrible! its the second time i have had it here and its miserable! i got it a lot worse than my comp but basically i had a high fever and ,y whole body hurt! until i couldnt even move my fingers or legs! pretty crazy but i guess its part of being here in EL Salvador!! So we got to work from thursday and on so thursday was a really calm day.. we couldnt do too much cause we were still a little sickj but we had good visits and were really happy cause all weeek we just got more and more sure that we will baptise like 6 people this month!! We had a baptism on tuesday and it was pretty interesting.. we were euuper sick but we had to go! I thought i was gonna die haha when the service ended i couldnt evern stand up bcause i couldnt move my legs lol! I thought it was pretty funny! And my mouth was like ocked shut and it looked like i was doing a duck face! Ohhhh el salvador! anyways she got baptised and were really excited for her! Friday we needed to find some news so we set off to search in a very specias way! We prayed and preayed and looked on the map for the streets that the lord wanted us to contact and we were able to see miracles! We found some great people that were so posative and we hope that they will progress! Saturday we invited everyone to church and ended up having 6 in church! Very short email but it was a great week! I did not have changes and i will stay with elder artiaga for another change!! Im pretty excited it will be the longest i stay with a companion!! Week 42! Ciudad Delgado!

Hey everyone!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This week has been super fun! Super successful despite some difficulties that we have had! Enjoyed the Christmas season and had lots of fun and have been really happy!

Tuesday we had a calm day i have had another ingrown toenail this week but unfortunately this ones a bit worse than normal and it was hurting a lot so we were walking slow and stuff but we ended up having lots of success! we had like 8 lessons and got to visit a lot of the people preparing for baptism! 

Wednesday, was pretty much the same but we had the chance to put 2 baptismal dates! Hopefully that will progress! We have an investigator named josue and he is super good! he has already told us that he received his answer and knows that this church is the truth! He comes to church on his own now and will get baptized the 14th of January! Were really excited for him!! 

Thursday we had the mission Christmas activity and it was super fun! We played a bunch of games and had a water fight! president asked me to be the photographer of the event so i was pretty excited!! I got to take pictures with a professional camera all day!! I miss photography a lot!! There were also a bunch of plays that every zone did and they were hilarious!! Tons of fun but we didn't get to work at all.. 

Friday i went to the doctor for my toe.. its a new doctor now and he put me on lots of drugs cause its infected.. this week he will operate on it and ill never have an ingrown toenail again! haha on that toe anyways.. 

Saturday i spent all day giving tours of the church because i cant work right now! but it was super successful i have like 50 people in 2 days enter the chapel to see the rooms and a short video! 

Sunday was crazy! we had the most people in church than all of the zone combined! we had 8 investigators!! On CHRISTMAS!! What a great Christmas gift from heaven! Were sooo happy and everyone absolutely loved it!! Then we went home because i cant walk:( but i got to take a nap so that was nice but it felt weird! 

Anyways have a fantastic week everyone!! thanks for reading!!! 

p.s. i got to talk to my family and it was absolutely amazing!! I Love them sooo much!!

Week 41! Ciudad Delgado!

Hey everyone!! This week has been good and im loving all of the Christmas spirit! And the fireworks! They have been shooting off tons of fireworks in the night and i love it! We can go up on our roof and see them! Its pretty great!

But anyways! this week has been one of lots of success!! We will be attending a wedding that we planned and a baptism before the change ends!! WOHOOO! Were helping a couple get married and then we hope they will get baptized! 

Not gonna lie im starting to get really lazy with writing my weekly letters! And today unfortunately i am sick so this is gonna be pretty short again.. Weve been having lots of fun and lots of success! Enjoying all of the little things and teaching tons of lessons! We are finishing each week with 35 or more lessons!! We have now identified who of all of the people we have found will progress to baptism and its been working well! We will have lots of baptisms in January! We had 7 investigators in church and they all have baptismal dates in January!! This week we found a new place in our area that we didnt know was part of our area so that has been fun! lots of exploring and lots of new people! We found 17 news this week!! Some really good and some that are okay but they are willing to listen and that whats important!! I lve the mission and i lve this area! I love sharing happiness and i am surprised a how fast the time has gone by! I hope each and every one of you have a great holiday season and take advantage of the opportunity to share a message or testimony about christ! wish us luck! the holidays here are hard! HEYY Week 40!! Ciudad delgado!

Hey everyone! this week was good! im gonna be really quick this week! I have been working really hard with my new comp and were killing it here!! WE have the love and support of the ward!! WE are trying to work a lot more with less actives and it has only brought us more and more success! We have received so many references from the members and we dont even have to ask them they are coming to us!! Its been excellent! We now understand and are working this ward!! We had 5 people in church again and we are all good times!! The next week we should have like 15 less actives and 10 investigators!! I love this are! i dont wanna leave but im scared i will have changes! I have dont so much work to find and find but havnt been able to see many baptisms but i think that this next month there will be lots!! I have almost no time left but i have had an amazing week! and im loving the Christmas spirit here! they have fireworks like every night and i can watch them from the roof of my house and there's always lights and music its fun!! I love the lord i love his work and i wont stop until my 2 years are up! Sorry that this week has been short but just know i am having a blast! Love you all thanks for reading!!!!
