Semana 51 Las Américas 1

Week #51
2/27/17
Hola!
This week was pretty good! we had our share of ups and downs! We were able to find some peopel that are incredible! We found a man named vlademir! hes 27 and hes supe rinterested! hes got tons of questoins but he came to church and really liked it! he lives next to the church! i cant believe hed never talked to the missionaries! he even came to play soccer with us today! it was awesome! but sadly and i am already tired of writing this... my toe got screwed up AGAIN! It got infected where the doctor operated like a month ago! i had to rest for 2 days! UGH! That was hard for us but it ended up being okay! We still were able to work enough! Still loving being a zone leader! its so much fun! i hav eenjoyed helping other missoinaries and being able to visit all of the areas! Oh and baptismal interviews! i LOVE hearing how everyone has come to know that this church is true! Its been pretty interesting to be in a trio.. i havnt decided if i like it or hate it. We are with a great missionary! But he is a little crazy sometimes! Anyways becasue we had to rest a bit this week i dont have tons to write about but i really enjoyed this week! Although it was dificult it was lots of fun! Thanks for reading everyone! sorry for writing so little but next week it will be better!! Love you all! Thanks for all of your letters and support!

Week 50, America 1

Week #50
2/20/17
Hola!
Esta semana ha sido tan bueno! no im just kidding haha but i really did start typing in spanish before i realized that i need to write you all in english! This week has been really goof! full of lots of learnign and lots of working! I have never been a leader in the missoin before so its been really fnu to learn how it works! Im also really enjoying working so close to president! Hes sooo spiritual and so smart! i have learned so much from him in this little time that i have been here! We have been working reall yhard to try and balance all of the responsibilities that we have and still work hard with the time we have i nthe are! its been a little difficult but we have been doing well! We have really great people that were teaching that love the church and will get baptised! Lots of fun too! were in a trio so we do laugh a lot more! its pretty funny being with Elder Vazquez! Hes hilarious but he doesnt act like a missoinary.. thats why hes with us. Good friend but i think he has forgotten why he is here! so were trying to help him out! Also makes teaching more interesting! a bit harder too! he has more time in the missoin than me and my companion! All in all it was a really good week! We had interviews with president too! that was really good but really sucky! Good because wow everyone left so inspired to work and etc, sucks because we had to be there the whole time to make sure people were geing into their interviews at the right time and stuff.. and my zone is HUGE! theres 30 missionaries! So we were there for 11 hours! The good thing is president and his wife took my comp and i out to lunch! we went to subway and if you know me well i LOOOVE subway! haha! And they paid so that was cool! Sunday was cool! I forgot to tell you all but last week i had to give a talk! they told me saturday night! but it was one of the best talks ive ever given! the topic was Enter the temple! Weird topic for a missionary but it was cool! it was a miracle becaus eim not a good public speaker and normally i just write down everything i wanna say and read it, but this time i decided i wasnt going to do that! i just wrote down a few bullet points and i spoke for 15 minutes! it was crazy! i didnt read ANYTHING! Everyine said it was a really good talk too! i was pretty stoked! The missoin really does change lives haha! I didnt even feel nervous! I love it here! i absolutely love the mission! I love helping and serving otheres all day every day and i love this church! I know its true and you all can too! Thanks for all of your love and support! I hope you all have a great week!!! Hasta Luego!!

Semana 48 Ciudad Delgado!

Week #47
2-6-17
Hola Everyone!!
This week has been pretty fun! I pretty much knew from last week that this wednesday i will have changes so i have been packing my stuff and saying goodbye to people! Today our leaders coinfirmed it! I am leaving ciudad delgado! 6 months! I am pretty happy with the work i have been able to do here! I have mixed emotions about leaving! Im pretty happy buyt im also sad because i wont be able to see a few of the baptisms that i have worked pretty hard for! Buty i am pretty happy to not be a trainer! Excited to see whop my next companion will be and where i will go! The only thing that uis hard is that im sure i will go to an area that will be uch hotter than where i am right now.. tjhat will be tough! And i will probably start to go home at 9 again! That will have me pretty tired for a while but at least i wont be in a zone with just latinos! And i probably wont see tons of gangsters anymore! I had a fun week, had my first experience with the gangsters in this area! We were walking on the train tracks and a few of the guys stopped us and started asking us a buynch of questions! they thought i was a detective.. lol! They asked where were from and where we live and our names and stuff.. we told them we live in the church because we dont have money for a house and because we were in a contrary zone so if we told trhe where we lived they would have gotten mad haha! Thjey didnt believe us but they let us go! It was pretty funny! We had 3 more baptisms and i was suuper happy! The couple  are the people we helped get married and the other was a street contact that was suuper posative! were soo happy with the work here and i am sad to leave a few people buuut im also happy!! its been pretty fun saying goodbye to everyone! It has helped me see more what i am doing here and given me more motivatoin toi work harder in my nexst area! The members and the bishop all thanked me for my hard work and told e how greatful they all were for what i have done in this area so that made me feel pretty good! Still a little scared at how fast the mission is passing though! I will be home in 11 months! Thats way too fast!!!
Anyways it has been a great week and im greatful for what i icould learn and see and the people i could teach in this area! Vamos a ver que tal la próxima!!! Thanks for reading!!!! Have a fantastic week!!!
