Week 66! America 1----> unknown area

Week #66
6/12/17
Heyy everyone! ok this weeks letter is gonna be pretty short because it was a pretty interesting but normal week! haha that doesn't make any sense but not much happened! i actually ended up not working very much.. it kinda stinks hah but you'll see why! so heres some of the highlights!!
1. We went bowling on Monday and it was totally fun! They turned off the lights so it was glow in the dark and our mission president and his wife came! totally a blast! and music was playing reallyy loud so that was kinda fun! even the president was enjoying it haha!
2. ELDER RENLUND, one of the 12 apostles came to my mission and we got to meet him and shake his hand! it was sooo cool! and i was sitting in the front row for the whole meeting! his sucha cool guy and wow hes smart! we learned sooo much from him it was amazing! wishi  could tell you all about everything he taught but the thing that most impacted me was something he said at the beginning. He started by saying today i have 3 messages that i need to share with you from god and his prophet. the one that really hit me was a sincere but sooo powerful, THANK YOU. he expressed with soo much love his gratitude for our service and made it very clear that God specifically wanted him to say that to us, our misison specifically! i was really close to him so i could see his eyes and wow. it was something incredible! i cant explain it!
3. I got really really really sick haha. i was in bed for 3 days and couldn't even move! I got some virus that is hittin El Salvador super hard and has actually killed 3 ppl! I had the highest fever ive ever had in my life! it almost got up to 104!!! I was pretty scared! i couldn't move, could hardly breath, and my whole body was like on the verge of having a seizure! But not really i just dont know another word to use, but yea it was scary! but i got a blessing and and an emergency injection and it went down a little! but wow my body hurt! it attacks all your bones so my back and my knees and joints hurt so bad! it was nuts! Hahah gotta love El Salvador! Im better now though!!:)
4. We Had Leaders council and it was the last one of my mission president! My new president comes this next week! but it was a great meeting! we talked all about what we learned with the apostle and applied it to our mission and stuff it was cool! we made plans and goals and had some good laughs with all the leaders in the mission with president before he leaves! im so sad that he is leaving i love him sooo much! he is an incredible person and such a great leader!
5. i had another meeting with my president and all the ward mission leaders in the stake! it was cool! i organized and planned it, the i lead it! i didnt do much teaching but it was really cool! and president taught soooo well and i know that all the ward mission leaders are stoked to havea ll that info!
6. I HAVE CHANGES HAHA SEE YA AMERICA 1:( :)

Week 63! America 1

Week #61
5/22/17
Hey friends and family!! This week has been a good one! Full of interchanges, learning, contacting, planning, teaching, and finding! no just kidding we didnt find that many ppl this week haha but we looked so thats what counts! we have had lots of success though! we had 2 investigators pass theie baptismal interviews and will have a few baptisms this weekend! anyways heres the highlights!!

1. Interchanges with the assistants! i learned a ton! they work so well in there areas and are working super good with the members! and their area is super cool! I really enjoyed it! Learned a lot about some of the plans president has and were trying to apply it to our zone!!
2. we went to contact the most rich colony in our area and well it was fun i guess! lots of no but it was okay we made it fun anyways! i one read and now feel that i do the same. I leave the house every day to go and give everyone i meet a 100 dollar bill ( even though i know that what i am bringing ppl is much much more valuable) and if they dont want to accept it.. thats fine with me ill go give it to someone else! but we played games so we didnt get bored haha!
3. we have been having lots of good lessons in members houses! we have one the lievano family, alejandra and Diego will be getting baptized, and the family of the 10 year old we baptized a while ago.. theres two ppl there that were teaching!
4. we went to la paz again but this time we did something cool! we wanted to get to know all of the missionaries better so we had companionship interviews! it ws really cool! and we talked about their areas, ppl relationship, ward.. etc! it was cool! we feel like we have a lot better relationships with everyone now! we will finish the last district this week!
5. We have been receiving a lot of member references this week! we have been visiting familis and singing a hymn with them and during the hymn they have to wrute down the names of all of the ppl that the know and after we have them pray and pick a few we can teach! it has been working! we recieved over 15!!
6. We had 10 investigators in church!! I am soo happy, we officially broke the record for this area! i thought the recors was low but anyways were stoked!!!

Thats all for this week! thanks for all the support! love you all! have a great week!

Week 61 America 1

 Week #60
5/8/17
Hey everyone!! this week has been good one! CHANGES, new companion and more progressing investigators!! Awesome companion, no more assistants in my house! Super good meeting with president, Powerful testimonies and much more!
Here are the highlights of this week!
1. We finally have been able to teach the whole family of Susana and her son will probably get baptized in a few weeks, and were also teaching on e of her daughters! shes really cool and has been to church 3 times now! she really liked it!! which means more baptisms coming soon!:)
2. we got yelled at by some old lady from some other church it was pretty funny, let me tell you about it! So we were teaching this teenage girl not really sure how old she was like 20 but her grandma that is really evangelic.. not sure if that's the word but she yelled at us and said to her granddaughter "SARA come inside NOW, you are wasting your time with them, they have a twisted doctrine and are crazy.." then my companion was like well so you believe in Jesus Christ and she was like of course.. and my companion told her that we did too and she replied.. " But who knows in what form" and slammed the door.. Sara said we could keep teaching haha!
3. we had our leaders meeting with president and it was really good! but really long! l0ots of things are changing in the mission! were not gonna have zone conferences anymore! so i no longer have to teach big meetings with 30 missionaries.. kinda stinks but oh well! we learned a lot about repentance and the importance of using the area book to have more success with less work i guess you could say! it was cool! Ill teach it to the district leaders this week!
4. Sunday my recent convert Susana got up and bore her testimony in sacrament meeting. it was absolutely amazing! she has such a strong testimony and almost made me cry! i teared up! she talked about how grateful she was for the timing when we showed up at her house and how the spirit had really helped her fing te truth! it was awesome!!
5. NEW COMPANION elder Giron. hes from Guatemala. there's 2 new ppl in my house and the 2 news also really like photography! so we all get along really well!!
Thanks for all the support! all is super well here in el salvador! im loving the time jhere, the experiennces that im having and all that imlearning! i have been a misisonary for almost 16 months! times flying by but im taking in every moment! hope everyone has a wonderful week!!
